Annual Pig Ritual 2026

Every year I perform my annual Pig Ritual. It is one of the most powerful prosperity workings that I offer, and it is something I have practiced for many years. To my knowledge, I do not know another practitioner who performs this ritual in the way that I do.
One of the questions I am asked every year is, "Why a pig?"
The answer goes far beyond money.
Throughout history, the pig has represented wealth, multiplication, provision, survival, and the ability to build a lasting legacy.
 
1. A Pig Represents Wealth
Long before banks and investment accounts existed, wealth was measured by what a family owned. Land, grain, cattle, goats, chickens, and pigs all represented financial security.
A pig was more than an animal—it was an investment.
A healthy pig could be bred, traded, sold, or used to feed an entire family. The more pigs someone owned, the more prosperous they were considered. In many rural communities, pigs functioned as a form of stored wealth.
2. The Pig Symbolizes Multiplication
Unlike many livestock animals, pigs can produce large litters of piglets. One animal has the ability to become many.
Because of this, the pig became a symbol of increase.
Spiritually, multiplication isn't just about money. It can represent multiplying opportunities, clients, resources, ideas, influence, favor, and stability.
The prayer is not simply, "Give me more."
The prayer is, "Teach what I already have to multiply."
3. The Pig Is a Symbol of Provision
Historically, when families raised pigs, very little of the animal went to waste. It provided meat, fat, hide, and other useful resources.
The pig represented survival through difficult seasons.
This is why many traditions connect pigs with never lacking what is needed.
Prosperity is not only having extra—it is having enough to continue living, building, and providing.
4. The Pig Teaches Preparation
A pig is not an overnight blessing.
It must be raised, fed, protected, and cared for before it produces a return.
That is an important spiritual lesson.
Many people pray for abundance but do not prepare themselves to manage it. Prosperity requires discipline, patience, stewardship, and responsibility.
5. The Pig Represents Hidden Opportunity
Pigs naturally root through the earth searching for food beneath the surface.
Symbolically, this reminds us that wealth is often hidden beneath what others overlook.
Opportunities, relationships, business ideas, and financial breakthroughs are not always obvious. Sometimes prosperity requires digging deeper, staying persistent, and recognizing value where others see none.
6. Prosperity Is Bigger Than Money
When I perform this annual ritual, I am not asking only for cash.
I am praying for:
Open doors
Business growth
Favor
New opportunities
Healthy relationships
Financial wisdom
Generational stability
Overflow that blesses others
True abundance is a life where your needs are met, your work flourishes, and you have enough to be a blessing beyond yourself.
That is the deeper lesson of the pig.
It is not simply a symbol of money.
It is a symbol of multiplication, provision, preparation, stewardship, and sustained prosperity.
This is why I perform my Pig Ritual only once each year. It is an intentional act of setting the tone for the coming season, focusing on growth, increase, and the disciplined cultivation of abundance within my own spiritual tradition.
